Chuck Shaw is a Big Wig in Support of Breast Cancer Research

“My mother had breast cancer and my aunt passed away from it. I’ve also had numerous friends that have had it or passed from it,” says Chuck Shaw on the inspiration behind his participation in the Susan G. Koman Big Wig fundraiser.

Chuck, a sales representative with EXIT Realty Bob Lamb & Associates in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, donned a goofy pink wig to have fun and raise money in benefit of Susan G. Koman Central Tennessee, a non-profit organization dedicated to “research, community health, global outreach, and public policy initiatives in order to make the biggest impact against” breast cancer.

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Chuck reached out to his real estate clients, friends and family to sponsor his participation and through their generosity exceeded his $1,000 goal, raising $1,250.00 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $2,500 to Susan G. Koman Central Tennessee. Chuck’s success, along with the support of the Spirit of EXIT program, resulted in his achieving third place overall for his fundraising efforts.
