The Spirit of EXIT Helps Habitat for Humanity Colorado Celebrate 25 Years of Home

Last fall, Habitat for Humanity Colorado celebrated its silver anniversary; 25 years serving the people of that great state.  The Region of EXIT Realty Colorado participated in fundraising at a gala event where members of the community gathered to celebrate this accomplishment.  They reached out to the Spirit of EXIT: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program to match their raised funds of $1500, and including additional fundraising efforts, a total donation of $4,400 was made to Habitat.

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund.  Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.

“In the past 25 years, Habitat for Humanity (of Colorado) has built, renovated and repaired more than 2,000 homes, housing over 8,000 individuals.  Through the WeBuild program we have engaged nearly 3,000 prison inmates seeking the dignity of a trade and the opportunity to contribute to the communities they offended,” said Karen Kallenberg, Director of Training and Development for Habitat for Humanity Colorado.  “We believe strongly in being exemplary stewards of your donation and appreciate the trust you have put in our organization to impact communities across Colorado.”
