RISMedia asked: "How is your company closing so many deals when many other regions are experiencing flat or down-trending markets?
Susan and Shawn replied: We don’t let bad news affect us. We figure out how to use the media and its reporting to our advantage. We have always done our best to stay on top of what is happening in our market, as well as throughout the state and even in the entire country. We were one of the first offices in Murrieta [California] to complete a successful short sale, and since then, our team has become expert because they all stay on top of the ever-changing short sale system. This has helped us to retain a 92% successful closing ratio in our short sales. We also work with multiple investors, bringing listings into the office. This has been huge for the agents. They always have a home to do open houses, so it keeps our brand, our people and our ears out there in the neighborhoods.
