The Newton and Chialtas Teams of EXIT 1 Stop Realty in Jacksonville, Florida, joined forces to raise money through their spheres of influence to benefit Artist Connection Theater Inc.
The goal of Artist Connection Theatre Inc. is to provide the opportunity for adults and young people to develop their artistic passions at low or no cost. In addition, the theatre plans to develop an after school program which focuses on developing a multitude of artistic disciplines such as vocal, instrumental and visual arts. The theater never turns any young person away for inability to pay and all performances are ticketed well below market value to allow everyone to enjoy live theatre. All productions seek to inspire people to a positive life pattern and are appropriate for all ages.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The Newton and Chialtas Teams hoped to raise $10,000 which EXIT Realty’s Head Office was proud to match, but they edged past their goal raising $10,051.39 for a total donation to Artist Connection Theatre of $20,051.39.
“The Theatre allows our community, and especially at-risk young people, to engage a passion that will help keep them off the streets,” said Joe Newton of the Newton Team. “In fact, working with this theater, I have already seen the positive effect it has on people of all ages, but especially our youth. We know helping students find their passion is key to helping them make good life decisions, inspiring them to do well in school and increasing chances of overall life success.”
