EXIT Realty Arizona undertook a fundraising project to benefit Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona and applied to the EXIT & Habitat: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program to double their efforts.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is pledged to its non-profit organization of choice, and to-date $3.5 million dollars has been pledged to Habitat for Humanity. Through the EXIT & Habitat: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT Realty’s involvement with Habitat for Humanity can potentially reach every community where an EXIT office exists. EXIT Associates anywhere in North America can work in conjunction with their local Habitat for Humanity office to raise funds for a specific project or initiative and submit a proposal to EXIT Realty Corp. International for those funds to be matched dollar-for-dollar from EXIT Realty’s pledged pool of funds to Habitat for Humanity International. As of today, fundraising projects have been approved in Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, New York, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
EXIT Realty brokerages and associates in Arizona sold Gold Canyon Candles to raise money and then participated in a home build, volunteering their time and efforts.
Participants were pleased by the new friendships they forged and the talents they shared. The soon-to-be homeowner of the Habitat house was present to greet each volunteer and work along with them. Lunch and t-shirts were provided by EXIT Realty Arizona. The $1,500 raised was matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International and Habitat for Humanity benefitted to the tune of $3,000.
EXIT Realty Arizona plans to return to work again with Habitat for Humanity in 2017.
