This fall, William Anthony (Tony) Dean and I hosted our Eighth Annual Pink Cans 4 Cancer Fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer awareness. This year, we had over 175 people in attendance and over 75 raffles (all of which were donated to help raise money) including 30 plus sports/entertainment autographed pieces.
Pink Cans 4 Cancer raises money “one can at a time” for breast cancer awareness. We have over 60 Pink Cans <recycling bins> in schools, businesses, and homes with the support of amazing friends and family. From the money we raised at this year’s fundraiser, we will be able to purchase a third vehicle and 40 more Pink Cans to go throughout Long Island and Queens. This fundraiser will help Pink Cans 4 Cancer double the number of businesses and homes we have been able to collect from this year. Our goal for the next year is to be in 50 schools, 50 businesses, and get 50 new families to save their cans/bottles for our regular pickups.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match the $5,000 raised by EXIT Associates at this event for a total donation to Pink Cans 4 Cancer of $10,000.
