Kathy Hobbs, Broker Owner of EXIT Realty Pinnacle Group in Quinlan, TX and her team of professionals joined together to raise money for the Hunt County Tunes for Tots. Hunt County Tunes for Tots is a non-profit organization that provides donations to special needs programs in the area, offers scholarships, and runs an annual toy drive around the holidays.
“One hundred percent of the profits go to the children in our community. This charity has the biggest heart for kids, and we like to volunteer and donate to their events throughout the year,” Kathy said of why they chose this specific organization.
Kathy and her team volunteered at the toy drive event that included live music with two acoustic musicians, five full bands, and Sam Riggs headlining. EXIT Realty Pinnacle Group was also the official stage sponsor. They promoted the initiative via social media and asked that people either make a donation, sponsor, or bring an unwrapped toy.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. “We had a $5,000 “stage sponsor” that was EXIT Realty Pinnacle Group along with EXIT Realty Corp. International matching dollar-for-dollar making it a total of $10,000 for one sponsorship spot,” said Tracy Travers, Board Member for Hunt County Tunes for Tots. “I remember two years ago hustling for weeks to get $5,000 and now our third event started off with $10,000. That was my first set of many tears.”
The success of the event surpassed everyone’s expectations. “The support from this community is unmatched. I am so honored and very proud to announce that this year’s 3rd Annual Tunes for Tots Toy Drive with sponsors, shirt sales, donations, guitar auction along with a couple other things has raised over $83,000 (gross) yes you read that right, $83,000 with a one-day toy drive event. From the bottom of our hearts at Hunt County Tunes for Tots we thank each and every one of you that have made this possible,” said Tracy.
