I assumed leadership of the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program in early 2025, collaborating closely with Sylvie Dakanis, Trust Fund Manager at EXIT Realty Corp. International. It has been truly inspiring to witness the dedication of our associates across North America and the profound impact they make in their local communities. Beyond their professional roles, they are deeply committed to service, embodying the values of generosity and community engagement. EXIT Realty continues to attract individuals who are not only industry professionals but also passionate community members.
Associates across North America continued to embrace the spirit of giving throughout 2024, leveraging the charitable program to support causes that align with their passions.
A portion of every transaction fee received is allocated to a charitable fund in the country in which it was generated, providing a pool of available funds for charitable contributions. Associates and brokerages can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to have their fundraising efforts matched, up to a maximum, effectively increasing their impact.
The categories of non-profits supported in 2024 included:
- Animals – 1.5%
- Children – 26.5%
- Habitat for Humanity – 5.5%
- Medical Support – 21.0%
- Cancer – 3.0%
- Community Support – 26.5%
- Medical Research – 5.5%
- Veterans – 10.5%
Many associates surpassed their initial fundraising goals. As their initiatives gained momentum, support poured in, allowing them to raise well beyond their pledged amounts, demonstrating the power of generosity and the ripple effect of making a difference.
