“My son plays the saxophone and is part of the band and marching band. I find that the fine arts are the least supported areas of a school,” tells Dana Engle, Sales Representative with EXIT Grassroots Realty in Powder Springs, GA, of why she chose to support Jackson County High School (JCHS) Band Boosters.
Bingo with the Band was a terrific fundraiser with money raised through 50/50 raffles, ticket sales to the event, concessions, and of course bingo. With the band program continuing to grow each year there’s always a need for new instruments, uniforms, props, music, etc. and so the money raised will go to serving those needs.
Dana and her team were able to raise $4,102.60 at Bingo with the Band, and with EXIT Realty Corp. International’s donation of $3,000, she was able to give a total of $7,102.60 to the JCHS Band Boosters.
“I had an absolute blast at Bingo with the Band! It was so exciting to see our students, families, and community come together with such enthusiasm. Nights like this remind me how special our program is and how much we can accomplish when we’re united behind our kids. I am honored that EXIT Realty supports our community and our program,” said Kathy Marquess, JCHS Band Booster Chair.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
