1. Remove Physical Clutter

Some items provide emotional triggers that we treasure, like a card from Grandma or a news article about your family. Others have no value at all, like a leftover laundry detergent container.

Remove items from one room with no sentimental or contributory value to the environment. Once you get rid of the clutter, it usually feels easier to breathe.

If you practice yoga or a similar activity, the extra space allows you to use mats and other equipment that encourage stress reduction. You won’t need to worry if there is room for everything!

2. Use Flowers and Houseplants

Humans experience health benefits when they interact with nature. Like putting your bare feet into the grass, even a simple act can have enormously positive effects.

When people have more exposure to natural light wavelengths, they sleep better, have more motivation, and experience better concentration levels. It even helps with brain development and anxiety resilience.
