$11,450 in Fundraising Turns into $45,000 Worth of Food with Help from the Spirit of EXIT

Andrew Phillips, a Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Advantage in Fredericton, New Brunswick, rallied his fellow EXIT Associates to raise funds benefiting  Greener Village Fredericton Food Bank. Greener Village Fredericton Food Bank supports people in their journey to self-sufficiency by garnering and distributing food and clothing and providing learning and skills development opportunities.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The EXIT Realty Advantage team  raised $11,450 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $22,900 to Greener Village Fredericton Food Bank.  But the impact on the local community didn’t stop there.

“We greatly appreciate the help that we’ve received from our local EXIT Realty office. Their help in raising awareness, food donations, and of course financial donations are always a great encouragement to us as we fight hunger and poverty in Fredericton,” said Alex Boyd, Executive Director of Greener Village Fredericton Food Bank.  “We understand that you are matching the support that our local office has made. We greatly appreciate this! The donation that you’ve added to the local agents’ support will allow us to purchase up to $45,000 worth of food to provide to local families. We are able to purchase very effectively by partnering with local farmers and wholesale distributors!”
