Cathy Mauk Dickens Goes Over the Edge for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri- States

Cathy Mauk Dickens, sales representative with EXIT Realty Unlimited in Dubuque, IA raised money for United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States. Cathy tells why she chose this charity, “They do great work in the community helping with health, education and poverty.”

Money was raised through online donations and social media promotion. Those able to raise a certain amount had the opportunity to rappel from Dubuque’s Midwest One building, Cathy included.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Cathy raised $1,140, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $2,280 to United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States.

“We appreciate that you recognized the need in our community. Your contribution will allow us to continue to impact nearly 5,500 local lives this year through our United Way Community Impact Fund,” tells Katie Wiedemann, Vice President of Development, United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States.
