EXIT Realty’s #oneword for 2018 is #MAXIMIZE and that’s precisely what EXIT Realty Dubuque did this fall when raising money to benefit Dubuque/Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity.
On November 19, 2018, EXIT Realty of Dubuque held a blood drive and offered to donate $10 to Habitat for every person who donated blood. A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. EXIT Realty Dubuque raised $500 which the Spirit of EXIT fund matched for a total donation to Dubuque/Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity of $1,000.
Maximizing their fundraising efforts by inspiring people to give blood for two good causes resulted in a positive double impact for their community. “In 2019, a single mother with four children will partner with Habitat to become first-time homeowners. Your donation is helping them build their home,” said Rachel Dilling, Executive Director, Dubuque/Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity. “Thank you for your support of Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities and hope.”
