“As an educator in the public school system, I am deeply passionate about providing love and support to kids in my community. I have partnered with our local Marine Toys for Tots on previous fundraising events and knew the opportunity to make a larger impact by doubling donations through the Spirit of EXIT was something I could not pass up in order to provide the joy of Christmas to children across West Alabama,” Stacia Koon, sales representative with EXIT Capstone Realty in Tuscaloosa, AL, explains.
Stacy chose to support this organization with a Christmas in July Motorcycle Ride. EXIT Capstone secured prizes for raffles, organized activities, sold tickets and t shirts, planned food sales, registered participants, and advertised the event through social media, flyers, pop bys, and mailers. The funds raised will assist families in need during the holiday season through the Tuscaloosa Chapter of Toys for Tots. They help families in Tuscaloosa, Greene, Hale, and Pickens counties, including more than 1,850 children in 2021.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Stacia and her team of professionals at EXIT Capstone Realty raised $5,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $10,000 to Toys for Tots.
