“Sex trafficking of women and children is a major problem in Florida and this local charity ensures that those affected are given care and support after they are rescued,” tells Jan Collins, Franchisee of EXIT 1 Stop Realty in Jacksonville, FL. Jan and her office chose to support Her Song Jacksonville with a Bingo Night Fundraiser for their annual charitable event.
Bingo Night was a success with food, drinks, door prizes and of course bingo. All money raised supports women and children after rescue with therapy, housing, job training and placement, among other things.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jan and her team of professionals raised $2,241.45, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $4,482.90 to Her Song Jacksonville.
“Her Song exists to interrupt the cycle of human trafficking by empowering survivors with holistic support to champion their journey toward freedom.
