EXIT Assurance Realty Helps Those in Need with Every Home Sold

EXIT Assurance Realty in Groton, Massachusetts has entered into a partnership with Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts with a commitment to donate a portion of commissions from each home sale to support Habitat’s work locally and in addition, EXIT Assurance agents will volunteer to help build and repair affordable homes in the communities they serve.

“EXIT Assurance Realty is truly committed to the local community and helping to ensure that everyone has a decent place to live,” said Carolyn Read, Habitat NCM Executive Director. “The EXIT Assurance REALTORS® have set themselves apart by helping families in need in our region to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.”

Broker/Owner of EXIT Assurance Realty, Jeff Gordon, states, “I believe in Habitat for Humanity’s mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. EXIT Realty Corp. International has been involved with Habitat for Humanity International for many years and we are excited to bring that support to the towns we serve.  It’s great knowing that we will be helping those in need in our region with every home we sell.”

The contributions made by EXIT Assurance Realty on every home sale are being matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International’s EXIT & Habitat: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program.  A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is pledged to its non-profit organization of choice, and to-date $3.5 million dollars has been pledged to Habitat for Humanity.  Through the EXIT & Habitat: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT Realty’s involvement with Habitat for Humanity can potentially reach every community where an EXIT office exists. EXIT Associates anywhere in North America can work in conjunction with their local Habitat for Humanity office to raise funds for a specific project or initiative and submit a proposal to EXIT Realty Corp. International for those funds to be matched dollar-for-dollar from EXIT Realty’s pledged pool of funds to Habitat for Humanity International.

With ambitious plans to build two new homes and perform critical home repairs on another twelve affordable homes in the area this year, the commitment made by EXIT Assurance Realty means that more families will live in safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes.
