“Wow! This year has been the best one yet for the Hearts 4 Homes event here in Delaware! Even considering the bazaar state that we find our world in these days, it has felt like an even more amazing gift our community has granted us,” said Andrea Wisniewski, Office Manager of EXIT Central Realty.
This spring, the community stepped up in support of Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity at the he 3rd Annual Hearts 4 Homes event hosted by EXIT Central Realty. The brokerage was supported in its efforts by 84 Lumber and Lowes and raised funds through live radio broadcasts, mailing requests for support to the Home Builders Association of Delaware as well as contractors licensed throughout the state.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match $5,000 of the $22,770.72 raised for a total donation of $27,770.72 to Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity.
“Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity is now better equipped to provide PPE (personal protection equipment) for our volunteers and construction staff on site,” said Dylan Grimes, Public Relations Coordinator with Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity. “These funds collected will also pave the way on the slow road of recovery from the financial loss from the current COVID-19 pandemic.”
“At a time when stay at home orders are in place and the new norm, partnering with an amazing charity like Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity that provides housing to those who may not have otherwise had a home seems more appropriate than ever!” said Andrea. “What an amazing outpouring of love and effort in such trying times.”
