Carlos Jesus, Broker/Owner of EXIT Golden Realty Group in North Arlington, NJ and his team of professionals once again raised money by holding a raffle for Pathways to Independence, Inc. Pathways provides program support services, pre-vocational, and vocational opportunities to adults with disabilities to help them reach their most independent level of functioning.
Carlos explains that he chose this charity, “to ensure that adults with disabilities fully and effectively participate in society on an equal basis with others.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Carlos and the team raised $2,100 with their initiative, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $4,200 to Pathways to Independence, Inc.
“At Pathways we strive to provide an environment that is safe for the adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and also to everyone who visits the facility. Thankfully your donation has enabled Pathways to upgrade our facility and to purchase needed materials and supplies to meet the needs of everyone we support. We couldn’t have done it without your support,” said Alvin Cox, Executive Director, Pathways to Independence, Inc.
