EXIT Midstate Realty Utilizes Spirit of EXIT Again for Christmas in July Brat Fry

Alissa Prentice,  Franchisee of EXIT Midstate Realty in Weston, WI, and her associates supported Christmas in July Charity with a Brat Fry again this year. “Many of our agents have children or grandchildren, some of whom have had stays or procedures at Marshfield Children’s Hospital, the hospital that Christmas in July Charity helps raise funds and collect toys for. It is a newer charity in our area (8 years), which also drew us to them to help get their name and cause out to the community,” says Alissa about why this charity was their pick.

The team at EXIT Midstate Realty and a few affiliates purchased supplies to hold the brat fry in the parking lot of their office. They also volunteered to cook and sell the food. By having the fundraiser in their parking lot, they could help a good cause and gain exposure for their office.

The money raised will afford the charity the opportunity to purchase toys for patients, remodel areas of Marshfield Children’s Hospital that don’t currently fit into the operating budget, as well as provide for patient birthday and end of treatment parties. The main fundraising goal for 2023 was to be able to purchase a facility dog for the hospital.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Alissa and her team hoped to raise $3,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded their goal and raised $3,354 for a total donation of $6,354 to Christmas in July Charity.
