EXIT Realty Agents Participate in Mesilla Valley NM Habitat for Humanity Home Build

EXIT Realty agents, brokers and members of the community converged on Mesilla Valley, New Mexico to help another Habitat for Humanity family as they invested sweat equity in their new home.  In addition they participated in a fundraiser where monies raised were matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International’s matching program totaling a $1,000 donation.

In a letter to Chris Harrison and Joe Arnone, Owners of EXIT Realty Horizons and EXIT Realty New Mexico and El Paso, Texas, Jean Stobbe of Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity said, “Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that works to build simple, decent housing for those in need in Dona Ana County. Each day, Habitat for Humanity is working to eliminate poverty housing in our neighborhoods and all over the world.  A Habitat house breaks the cycle of poverty and builds long-term financial security for low-income families who work to help themselves. This can only be possible by partnering with our community and support from community partners, events and donations.  Your donation will be applied to our current construction projects as well as ensure that we are able to continue building quality housing in the future.”

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is pledged to its non-profit organization of choice, and to-date $3.5 million dollars has been pledged to Habitat for Humanity.  Through the EXIT & Habitat: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT Realty’s involvement with Habitat for Humanity can potentially reach every community where an EXIT office exists. EXIT Associates anywhere in North America can work in conjunction with their local Habitat for Humanity office to raise funds for a specific project or initiative and submit a proposal to EXIT Realty Corp. International for those funds to be matched dollar-for-dollar from EXIT Realty’s pledged pool of funds to Habitat for Humanity International.
