“We chose this charity because of the growing need to provide encouragement and support for our first responders,” tells Ross Kilpatrick, Franchisee and Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Anchor South in Alexander City, AL of the reasoning behind the Paint the Town Teal Event to benefit Cater2Cops and United Way.
Ross along with Broker of Record, Nancy Pemberton, and their team of professionals, raised money through sponsorships and an auction. The event provided live musical entertainment by local artist Molly McGee, an auction, as well as a catered dinner by Wharf Casual Seafood.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Ross and the team raised $2,188.50, which EXIT’s head office was happy to match, for a total donation of $4,367 to Cater2Cops.
“Your contribution reflects your generosity and dedication to your community and the law enforcement professionals. The impact of your fundraiser cannot be overstated. Your financial contribution and commitment have allowed this organization to continue serving through offering physical, mental, emotional and spiritual rest from their everyday difficulties. I want to extend our sincerest thanks for your support,” said Randy Stroup, Founder/President, Cater2Cops.
