EXIT Realty at Home Doubles Impact with Spirit of EXIT to Benefit Animals

By Sarah Thornton, Office Manager, EXIT Realty at Home, MI

EXIT Realty at Home of East Lansing, MI was pleased to have rounded out another successful charity campaign in the Greater Lansing Area, raising funds and awareness locally for the good dogs and kitties of the Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS).

CAHS was a natural choice for ERAH’s agents; we LOVE pets! Founded in 1936, Capital Area Humane Society is a local and independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has helped the community’s pet population through the generosity of donation and gifts for over 90 years. They’ve maintained a 100% placement rate for healthy and treatable animals since 2015! ERAH agents jumped at the chance to help further such a worthy cause, and we had some fun events to bring awareness to this organization’s needs.

ERAH’s efforts included an ongoing online prize raffle, pet photo shoot and treat bar event, sponsorship of shelter adoption fees on location for a day, and wouldn’t have been complete without the generous commission donations from our big-hearted agents! The pleasure was truly ours.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. The team at EXIT Realty at Home raised $1,811, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $3,622 to Capital Area Humane Society.

“Your generous gift means so much to us, and on behalf of the animals in our care, thank you. Your support provides medical care for those that are sick, and food for those that are hungry. You are saving lives,” said Jamie Matwiczyk, Director of Development, Capital Area Humane Society.
