Michael Alley, Broker Owner of EXIT Realty Black Hills in Rapid City, SD and his team of real estate professionals recently supported Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity. Black Hills Area HFH is a branch of the international organization that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity solicited sponsorships for a televised fundraiser in lieu of their usual in-person event, and Michael and his team jumped on board because they’ve been enthusiastic supporters of this organization for 16 years. The event was promoted via social media, TV ads, and emails to existing donors. “As a committee member I was highly involved in the complete process and was engaged with the other sponsors. These connections most certainly shined a light on EXIT Realty,” he said. “Additionally, my agents stepped up and have added the $1000 I requested of them to add to my office contribution of $1500.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. EXIT Realty Black Hills hoped to raise $2,500 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded that goal and raised $2,575 for a total sponsorship of $5,075 of the Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity event.
