EXIT Realty CK Elite, Brokerage and the Spirit of EXIT Helping to Make Dreams a Reality

Over the course of six months, Kirk Groombridge, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty CK Elite, Brokerage, in Chatham, Ontario, and the associates of the office put aside a portion of each closing cheque to donate to Community Living Chatham-Kent. Community Living Chatham-Kent is a non-profit charitable organization that provides people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to live and participate in their communities in a fulfilling and effective manner.

This organization was chosen by the office because of the way it has directly helped some of the families of associates in the past. Each agent donated $25 per transaction between January, 2020 and June, 2020 with the brokerage offering to match each donation. Even the office administrator donated a portion of her cheque each week to go towards the cause.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Kirk and EXIT Realty CK Elite, Brokerage anticipated raising $1,000 which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match, but their efforts totaled $3,180 for a total donation of $4,180 to Community Living Chatham-Kent.

“Generous gifts from donors like you provide the financial support needed to continue our mission of enriching the lives of people who have diverse abilities by providing quality services and meaningful and inclusive opportunities. Your donation assists us to continue to make dreams a reality”, said Tammy Chouinard, Manager of Community Relations for Community Living Chatham-Kent.
