Kel Williams, Franchisee of EXIT Realty Elite in Nashville, TN and his team of real estate professionals, with the help of Tif and Lee Turner, hosted a socially distant live and virtual event to raise money for the Recording Academy’s MUSICARES program. The MUSICARES program works to help those who fill the world with beautiful music by providing services for musicians in three main areas: health, mental health and addiction recovery, and human services.
“Too many musicians were silenced during the COVID 19 pandemic. As a lifelong resident of the Music City, I welcome the opportunity to give back to the people who make this city sing,” said Kel of why he chose this charity. EXIT Realty Elite agents promoted ticket sales and donations online via social media as well as collecting donations at a table at the concert venue.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. Kel and his team at EXIT Realty Elite raised $3,610.69 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $7,221.38 to Recording Academy’s MUSICARES.
