“Everyone deserves a good pair of shoes. EXIT Realty Elite in The Gulch joined Soles4Souls to help walk the economic divide for those in need,” says Christie Drury, Broker of Record, EXIT Realty Elite in Nashville, TN.
This Nashville based charity was chosen by Kel Williams, Franchisee of EXIT Realty Elite, as he is friends with their Director of Outreach and knows the need right here in the USA. “Every single pair of shoes makes a difference for those in need in Middle Tennessee,” says Tiffany Turner, Vice President of Outreach for Souls4Souls. “Every day children are prevented from attending school, adults are unable to work. Walking becomes unbearable. A new pair of shoes provides relief in many depressed areas throughout Middle Tennessee.”
The team again hosted a Christmas Benefit Show with musical guests, Tif & Lee, as well as a live telethon. “I’m extremely proud of my agents and their efforts to help our Nashville neighbors,” says Kel.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Kel and his team of professionals hoped to raise $3,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded that goal and raised $5,600 for a total donation of $8,600 to Soles4Souls. In addition, “Over 300 hundred pairs of shoes were donated by the agents,” says Christie.
