The Spirit of EXIT was alive at the Summer Sizzle BBQ in Ronkonkoma, NY. The amazing team at EXIT Realty Everyday, along with the community, enjoyed typical BBQ food, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, and salads. The Summer heat wave finally broke on Long Island as we were treated to lower humidity and could enjoy both our indoor and outdoor space. The generosity of the agents shined brightly at the BBQ to benefit Angels of Long Island and the winner of the 50/50 raffle even generously donated their half back to the charity.
Angels of Long Island’s mission is to assist and advocate for people in the Long Island Community who need assistance during these difficult economic times. Their goal is to empower people to overcome poverty and live fulfilling lives. They provide for people in need a vast amount of goods and services. Angels of Long Island has a free Farmer’s market every week to provide healthy food to nourish the community. In addition, they have a free general store each week which provides food, cleaning products, and toiletries. Angels of Long Island also pays for a shower truck twice a month for Veterans and people who are homeless. During the holiday season, they provide Christmas assistance to families.
The team at EXIT Realty Everyday is proud that they could help address the needs of their neighbors with Angels of Long Island.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. EXIT Realty Everyday raised $750, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $1,500 to Angels of Long Island.
