Rebecca Andreula, Associate Broker at EXIT Realty Front and Center in Binghamton, NY and a group from the brokerage chose to walk and fundraise for the Alzheimer’s Association. “Our office team has been walking together for the past five years. Several agents on our team have had family members suffer with this disease so it has been a good fit,” Rebecca explained as to why they chose this organization.
Most of the money was raised using social media platforms, as well as by selling purple paper flowers provided by the Alzheimer’s Association that could be purchased and displayed for a donation. The funds go towards Alzheimer care, support, and research.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Rebecca and her team hoped to raise $2,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they raised $2,480 for a total donation of $4,480 to Alzheimer’s Association.

This year’s event was supported by 323 participants and 12 Corporate Sponsors who collectively have raised $71,847 towards our goal of $74,000. Of that total, EXIT Realty Front and Center contributed $1,000 as a Sponsor and raised an additional $1,480 as a team. We are honored and grateful for your support,” said Catherine James, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Association Central New York Chapter.
