“This will be the 6th year our office has participated in this event together. Several agents on our team have had friends or family members affected by Alzheimer’s,” tells Rebecca Andreula, Associate Broker at EXIT Realty Front and Center in Binghamton, NY of why she and the team chose to support the Alzheimer’s Association in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The annual walk is held in over 600 communities with the event local to them held on September 9th, 2023. Funds were raised using social media platforms and emails linked to a landing page for donations as well as through sponsorships. Money raised goes toward care and support of those affected and critical research to help end the disease.
“This year EXIT Realty Front and Center was the Parking Sponsor for the event. This allowed us to park our branded Smart Car at the entrance and interact with each attendee as they entered the park for the walk. We also had a sponsor table which gave us a presence inside the park to talk with everyone again. In addition, I was asked to represent the Orange Flower in the “flower garden” in support of all affected by Alzheimer’s and my daughter Macie represented the one and only white flower as hope for a future without Alzheimer’s. It was a beautiful day for supporting such a great cause,” Rebecca said.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Rebecca and the team hoped to raise $2,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they raised $2655 for a total donation of $4,655 to the Alzheimer’s Association.
