Associates with EXIT Realty Group of Baton Rouge, Louisiana participated in the 8th annual Crawfish King Cook Off held on May 6, 2022. The cookoff benefits Big Buddy and Junior Achievement, both of which serve the greater Baton Rouge area in developing children and youth through mentorship programs.
“I’m on the board and our agents are planning to mentor underprivileged children,” Blake Fowler, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Group says of why he chose to support this organization. EXIT Realty Group was one of 34 teams who competed in the cook off. The teams boiled a combined 10,000 pounds of crawfish, welcomed 5,000 attendees, and raised an estimated $50,000 for the two nonprofit organizations.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Blake and his team raised $4,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a grand total of $8,000 to Big Buddy.
