Lori Lee, Franchisee, and Crystal Akers, Sales Representative of EXIT Realty Hometown in Wetumpka, AL, recently participated in a walk to support the River Region Pregnancy Center. The walk helped raise funds so the center could continue to provide support to the community while also raising awareness for what they offer.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Lori, Crystal, and the team hoped to raise $1,000 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they exceeded that goal and raised $1,200 for a total donation of $2,200. “We were so excited to be able to support the River Region Pregnancy Center. We were able to meet our goal and we are so thankful for all of the support we received from the community. We enjoyed getting to dress up in our Light the Way attire and walk through downtown Prattville,” said Lori.
“Your fundraising efforts help us continue our work by providing free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting mentorship classes, and baby items for moms and dads in the River Region. We have been able to reach 571 clients in the last 12 months with services because of the generous donations by individuals, businesses, and churches all over our community,” Carla Wilemon, Executive Director, River Region Pregnancy Center.
