EXIT Realty Legacy Hosts Circles for Circles Events for Poverty Reduction Services

By Angelina Peña, Franchisee of EXIT Realty Legacy in Salt Lake City, UT

Circles for Circles consisted of online and in person events to raise money for Circles Salt Lake, an organization on a mission to end poverty through community. The in-person event was held in a historical building in the heart of Salt Lake City and featured donated items that were auctioned off to the highest bidder. There was also an opportunity drawing of three Utah Jazz basketball tickets. The invited participants were mostly real estate related: mortgage, title, accountants, attorneys and financial planners. The auction items ranged from interior design certificates to a total golf package.

The event was a great success with our biggest donation coming from someone who did not bid on an item but simply wrote a check. I was also able to secure future food donations which were not included in the final count because they will be for next year. I felt very blessed to see so many people out supporting the charity to reduce poverty throughout Salt Lake County.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Angelina and her team of professionals hoped to raise $3,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they greatly exceeded that goal and raised an astounding $11,390 for a total donation of $14,390 to Circles Salt Lake.

“We deeply appreciate the support of the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program and look forward to continuing our collaboration in building community to end poverty with your organization in the future,” said Michelle Crawford, Executive Director, Circles Salt Lake.
