EXIT Realty Metro completed their summer drive for Lymphoma Leukemia Research by supporting the Team In Training Bicycle Ride by Barry Rogers. Barry has been active with LLS Team in Training for many years and supports the rides by participating as well as raising funds for research. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a global leader in the fight against cancer. Their mission is to cure all forms of blood cancer while improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
Funds raised by EXIT Realty Metro for this initiative were matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International through their Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program. EXIT Realty Metro is a member of the EXIT Realty Upper Midwest and EXIT Realty Corp. International family of independently owned and operated franchise brokerages. A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT brokerages and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
This year the event was held at the EXIT Realty Metro offices at the International Market Square in Minneapolis. The event was sponsored by EXIT and Barry Rogers. Supporters, friends and family came to enjoy the camaraderie and special speaker, Leukemia survivor, Bob Trench. Thanks to the sponsors and supporters, $1,550 was raised which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match for a total donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of $3,100.
“The support of Barry Rogers was greatly appreciated and will help further the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please accept our sincerest gratitude and thanks, and we hope to continue our partnership in the years to come,” said Molly Rebholz, Campaign Development Manager of LLS.
