EXIT Realty Nexus Walks to Defeat ALS with Help from the Spirit of EXIT

Jason Roberge,  REALTOR® with EXIT Realty Nexus in Coon Rapids, MN and associates raised money for the ALS Association and participated in their 2022 Twin Cities Walk to Defeat ALS. “I lost a good friend to ALS a few years ago and just recently another friend was diagnosed with it,” Jason tells of why he chose to support this organization.

Money raised will go towards research, care services, and the fight against ALS. Jason and his team connected with their sphere of influence to garner support for this charity with a vision to create a world without ALS. Their mission is to discover treatments and a cure as well as to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.

A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jason and the team at EXIT Realty Nexus hoped to raise $5,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however they raised $5,520 for a total donation of $10,520 to ALS Association.

The team at EXIT Realty Nexus dedicated their walk to their colleague and friend, EXIT’s Greg Peterson, who was diagnosed with ALS and sadly passed away on August 13, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

“On behalf of The ALS Association Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota Chapter, thank you for your support. Your donation drives the crucial programs and services we provide to people living with ALS and their families every day. Thank you for your dedication to our mission. With your support, we will continue working until we create a world without ALS,” said John Nuss, Territory Executive of ALS Foundation MN/ND/SD Chapter.
