Giving back has always been part of the EXIT Realty spirit, and Russell McGuire, Franchisee, and the team at EXIT Realty of Lubbock continue to put that spirit into action.
“Habitat believes in helping needy families buy a home of their own. That aligns with our heart and our business as we help our community buy and sell homes. Charities are struggling this year, including our local Habitat chapter, and they need our help,” Russell explains.
Over the years, the brokerage has supported Lubbock Habitat for Humanity through a variety of fundraising efforts, from golf tournaments to getting hands-on and helping with home builds. This year, they brought the community together once again for a special fundraising dinner on September 10th.
The evening featured sponsorships, raffles, and both silent and live auctions, all in support of their shared mission to help local families build strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, attendees and supporters, the event raised an incredible $49,100.08. EXIT Realty Corp. International added a $2,000 matching contribution, bringing the total donation to an astounding $51,100.08.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
