The 2024 Partners of Youth in Ag Golf Tournament was started some nine years ago to raise funds to enhance youth programming, education and experiences at the Colorado State Fair Foundation for the kids of 4-H and FFA (Future Farmers of America). The event this year brought out 26 teams (or 104 players), four Corporate Sponsors, two Associate Sponsors and six Partner sponsorships. Additionally, there were sponsors of the following events: Pre-event Happy Hour, Breakfast, Lunch and Raffle Event.
New this year there was also a “Hole in One” donation which consisted of a “John Deer Gator” for anyone hitting the hole in one on the 17th hole (no one hit the hole in one incidentally). In addition to these sponsorships, there were also over 20 different Tee and Green sponsorships. The day of golf went extremely well! The weather was absolutely perfect, and all of the committed golfers showed up with only two player cancellations.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Vince was responsible for the participation of specific sponsors and he hoped to raise $4,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however he exceeded expectations and raised $6,600 for a total donation of $10,600 to the Colorado State Fair Foundation.
