EXIT Realty’s Charitable Match Program Reaches Fredericton

Last year, one of EXIT Realty Advantage’s top producing agents, Pam Doak, worked with Habitat for Humanity Fredericton (New Brunswick) Area Inc. to secure three lots on which the organization will build new homes over the next three years.  Doak pledged the commission she earned from the transaction to Habitat and reached out to EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Spirit of EXIT: Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program to double the money she contributed.

“What an honor and privilege to be directly involved in securing three lots for Habitat for Humanity Fredericton Inc.,” said Doak.  “This will allow Habitat to build three to four homes within the next three years to house low income families currently living in substandard conditions and reunite family members separated due to overcrowding.”  On December 5th, 2017, Doak attended the first home dedication for the Lemieux family.

A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund.  Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.  To-date, EXIT has pledged $4 million to charity.  Doak pledged 2450.38 which was matched by EXIT Realty Corp. International for a total of $4900.76 donated to Habitat for Humanity Fredericton Area.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank EXIT Realty Advantage for their support as well as EXIT Realty Corp. International for matching my contribution with regards to the land donation.  Also to the Madden Family for their generosity in donating the land,” said Doak.  “Habitat for Humanity brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable ownership.  We all deserve a safe place to call home.”
