Domestic violence affects countless individuals and families, often leaving survivors with emotional, financial, and physical scars. Voices Against Domestic Violence (VADV) provides critical support, resources, and advocacy to help those affected rebuild their lives.
“I chose this non-profit because their mission aligns with my values: empowering survivors, raising awareness, and breaking the cycle of abuse. Their work ensures that no one must face this battle alone, and I believe that by supporting them, we can create real change in our community. By matching the funds raised at this event, our company is not only giving back but also standing in solidarity with those who need it most,” said Sasha Lerner, Sales Representative with EXIT Success Realty in Martinsburg, WV.
Funds were raised through a combination of raffles, vendor participation, and direct donations from community members. Sasha and her team of professionals raised $542.30, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $1084.60 to Voices Against Domestic Violence. These funds will directly support things like emergency assistance, counseling and support services, legal advocacy, education and prevention.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through this program, EXIT associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
