A portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities, including Habitat for Humanity, and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds.
In November, EXIT Realty N.F.I. with offices in Pensacola, Pace, Gulf Breeze and Navarre, Florida, hosted a golf tournament to benefit Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. The fundraising goal was set at $30,000 and EXIT Realty Corp. International pledged to match those funds. When the successful effort was concluded, the money raised totaled $33,478 for a total donation to Habitat of $63,478.
“The first-year tournament could not have been more of a success,” said Timothy H. Evans, Executive Director of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. “At Habitat we build energy-efficient homes and sell them at cost with a no-interest loan to low-income families eligible for our program. Through donations, in-kind gifts and volunteers, we are able to continue working toward more sustainable communities. We build homes, communities and hope.”
