EXIT Elite Realty hosted a Women’s Empowerment Brunch in participation with the Bold Futures Breakfast, an annual event to benefit Girls, Inc. of Central Alabama. The fundraiser was held to support “Project Accelerate”, an extension program of Girls, Inc. designed to support young women through their next critical transition from high school to college to career. “I chose this charity because I believe that mentorship is critical in this day and age in the lives of our youth. Girls, Inc. inspires girls to value themselves and develop their inherent strengths in an effort to grow up healthy, educated, and independent,” explains Tundra Pippens, Broker/Owner of EXIT Elite Realty in Hoover, AL.
Beyond selling tickets and having sponsored items for their event, they also had a sales associate who previously belonged to the Girls, Inc. mentoring program as the keynote speaker. The team promoted the event through word of mouth and social media.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Tundra and her team raised $1,700, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match for a total donation of $3,400 to Girls, Inc. of Central Alabama.
“THANK YOU from all of us at Girls Inc. of Central Alabama for your 2022 Bold Futures Breakfast event. Your investment helped us raise over $100,000 to further our mission and empower girls in our community to become the next generation of leaders,” said Connie Hill, Ph.D., President & CEO of Girls, Inc. of Central Alabama.
