The team at EXIT First Capital Realty in Chillicothe, Ohio, have a heart for homeless animals and their Howl at the Moon fundraising event held in October was a big boon for the Ross County Humane Society.
“I chose this charity for numerous reasons,” said Bethany Snowden, Owner of EXIT First Capital Realty. “It is near and dear to my heart as I used to volunteer at a humane society when I was a kid. Our local shelter is one of the very few no-kill shelters around so by helping this shelter they are also able to help neighboring high-kill shelters.”
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pledged pool of funds. The EXIT team’s Howl at the Moon costume party fundraiser included ticket sales, donations for voting and table purchases. They raised $4,405 dollars which EXIT Realty Corp. International proudly matched for a total donation to Ross County Humane Society of $8,810.
“On behalf of Ross County Humane Society we would like to thank EXIT First Capital Realty for your efforts with the Howl at the Moon Event. We greatly appreciate your support and your investment in our mission to help homeless pets within our community,” said Jenn Thomas, Executive Director, Ross County Humane Society. “Each year we service over 1,300 displaced animals who, without us, would have no where to go. Our programs are funded primarily by donations and fundraisers just like this. Thank you again for your support with the event which was a huge success. We look forward to next year’s event and hope to have your partnership again.”
