“I was asked to do a bike riding challenge to get donations for Children’s Cancer Research Fund four years ago and have been doing so ever since. This is dear to my heart because children should not have to go through this and I think this is a great cause,” tells Joanne DeFrisco, Franchisee of EXIT Realty Premier Elite in Lake Worth, FL of why she chose to ride in the Great Cycle Challenge (GCC) to support the Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF).
The Great Cycle Challenge is held to benefit Children’s Cancer Research Fund. Participants register for the challenge, set a goal, track their progress and share with friends and family to raise money. Children’s Cancer Research Fund is a national nonprofit on a mission to end childhood cancer. They support the research of scientists across the nation whose ideas can make a huge impact for children fighting cancer, as well as fund resources and programs for these kids and their families.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Joanne raised $611.64, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $1223.28 to Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
“Through participating in the 2023 Great Cycle Challenge, you raised $611.41 and rode 38.8 miles for research into safer, more effective treatments for children with cancer. On behalf of CCRF and GCC, thank you for your generous support,” said Angeli Breiner, Rider Support Manager, Great Cycle Challenge.
