“Last year we successfully raised $6,000 for the Youth Service Corps at Allen Neighborhood Center to improve and expand the Edible Park at Hunter Park. For my birthday this year, I raised money for the Garden House, which serves as a demonstration site and hub for year round garden education, where neighbors volunteer to grow food and flowers, and youth develop job and life skills in service to the neighborhood,” tells Jonathan Lum, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Home Partners in Lansing, MI. Allen Neighborhood Center is an organization that serves as a hub for neighborhood revitalization and for activities that promote the health and well-being of Lansing’s Eastside community.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds. Jonathan asked for donations to the charity in lieu of birthday gifts and he also held a Facebook birthday fundraiser again this year. He hoped to raise $2,000, which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, however he greatly exceed his goal and raised $6,050, for a total donation of $8,050 to the Allen Neighborhood Center.
