Julie Jenkins Named EXIT Realty’s Humanitarian of the Year

Julie Jenkins, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Twin Bridges, Brokerage, with locations in Sarnia and Petrolia, was named Humanitarian of the Year at the EXIT Realty Corp. International Convention held recently at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort near Jacksonville, Florida.

Julie’s roots in the community run deep.  She is a strong advocate for women in business and is one of the founding members of Sarnia Modern Women which includes networking events, workshops and more to empower, educate and bring together the businesswomen of Sarnia-Lambton.  Among her many charitable works, she is a passionate fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Sarnia-Lambton and has participated in several construction projects for the non-profit.

“When I first decided to work with Habitat, it was all about me. I was a brand-new agent looking for ways to increase my sphere and gain some recognition for my efforts while having fun. But, in fact, volunteering changed my life in ways I didn’t expect and changed my outlook on community involvement,” she said. Julie was also nominated for the Canadian Real Estate Association’s prestigious 2022 REALTORS Care® Award.

“Julie has fostered in her real estate brokerage great empathy and action-orientation for serving her community,” said Joyce Paron, CEO-Canada, EXIT Realty Corp. International.  “Her leadership has lit a flame in others to heed the call of those in need. We couldn’t be prouder of her and the incredible work she does in her city.”
