In 1958, the Rotary Club of Orillia made a difference by fundraising to build the Rotary Aqua Theatre at the waterfront in Orillia, ON. It has been home to many concerts in Couchiching Beach Park during the summer months, showcasing bands from across the province.
The theatre needs repairs and once again Rotarians went to work fundraising to keep this iconic landmark providing enjoyment for the community for years to come.
During the Port of Orillia Pirate Party local celebrities raised pledges to “walk the plank” into Lake Couchiching. When asked to participate, Kaleb Streeter, with EXIT Realty True North, Brokerage, did not hesitate to volunteer and even wowed the audience with an impressive backflip off the plank.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to our charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT Associates can raise money for local, approved registered charities and apply to have those funds matched from the pool of available funds. Kaleb raised $1,340.00 which EXIT’s head office was proud to match, for a total donation of $2,680 to the Rotary Club of Orillia.
