Kenny Hawkins Named EXIT’s Engagement Leader of the Year

Kenny Hawkins, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Crutcher, was named Engagement Leader of the Year during EXIT Realty Corp. International’s 2022 Convention held recently at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort near Jacksonville, Florida.

As the office’s Engagement Leader, Kenny is responsible for educating his fellow REALTORS® about technology to help advance their business and better serve their customers. EXIT Realty Corp. International’s Engagement Leader program is the brainchild of the company’s Co-Chair, Tami Bonnell, who recognized the importance of agents helping agents.  Director of Corporate Engagement, Annette Anthony, communicates with the volunteer agent Engagement Leaders and tasks them with teaching a monthly tech tip to their peers during office meetings, one-on-one, etc.  EXIT currently has hundreds of Engagement leaders in offices across the U.S. and Canada.

EXIT Realty Crutcher Broker/Owner, Cindy Crutcher, nominated Kenny for this honor. “Kenny goes above and beyond to help our associates in all three offices engage not only in the EXIT tools, but also in any technology available to our industry,” she said.

Every week Kenny hosts “Tech Friday” and encourages everyone to attend and ask any questions they have about EXIT tools or other technology.  “He has wrapped his hands around the EXIT marketing suite and has used this tool to grow his business. He gladly shares his knowledge with our agents on using this tool to brand themselves along with their listings. He encourages agents to use their EXIT Realty Connect app, to create their EXIT branded buyer and seller presentations and on using the text codes,” said Cindy, “Technology is so time consuming for a broker because everyone’s computer, phone and iPad is different. Kenny’s willingness to help our agents freed my time to focus on agent production. It also provides the agents confidence to dig in and use the tools. Kenny always tells me ‘I won’t do it for them, but I am glad to show them how to do it.’ What more could an old Kentucky real estate broker ask for?”

“We are so proud of Kenny’s impact in his office. He truly loves helping people,” said Annette. “He told me how proud it makes him feel when fellow agents apply what he has taught them. That is what this group is about; walking someone through how to use EXIT’s tools and resources. You can watch another video, you can read endless how-to resources, but when you involve people together that’s where the magic happens!”
