Kristin Hawley, Sales Representative with EXIT Ottawa Valley Realty, Brokerage in Pembroke, ON celebrated her 10th year in real estate by hosting a Client Appreciation Charity Casino Night. “The event was a chance for me to thank the clients, colleagues, and community members who have supported me over the past decade, while also giving back to a cause close to home,” Kristin explains about supporting North Renfrew Family Services (NRFS).
Guests enjoyed professional casino tables and dealers, finger foods and other light refreshments, music, and prizes. Costs were covered by Kristin and sponsors with any funds raised going directly to NRFS.
NRFS provides free counseling and essential support services to individuals and families facing mental health challenges, financial stress, relationship issues, and more. Money was raised through sponsorships, casino chip purchases for gameplay, raffles, and a 50/50 draw. Kristin raised $11,300, and EXIT Realty Corp. International matched $3,000 of those funds for a total donation of $14,300 to North Renfrew Family Services.
“We are deeply grateful for EXIT’s support and commitment to our work in the community, and we appreciate our partnership in supporting a stronger community together. These funds will be used to support NRFS programming, such as basic needs, homelessness prevention, and youth sports and camps,” said Tracy Russell, Executive Director, North Renfrew Family Services.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through this program, EXIT associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
