A certain kind of person is attracted to a company where people come first and are celebrated not only for the success they find in their business, but also for bettering the lives of the people around them. Mother-daughter Franchisees, Shelley Low and Jessica Low, are two such individuals recently honored as Humanitarians of the Year, at EXIT Realty Corp. International’s 2024 convention, held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL.
“This award is given to those who have made outstanding contributions to humanitarian causes. Shelley and Jessica work tirelessly to give back to others in their community and these contributions have the power of changing the trajectory of others’ lives,” explained Craig Witt, EXIT’s U.S. CEO, proudly after being in attendance for the awards presentation along with Co-Chair, Tami Bonnell, and EXIT’s Founder and Chairman, Steve Morris. “Their selfless efforts are recognized by not only the people they help but also by our EXIT family and they are so deserving of this award.”
This heart-filled duo is known for their awesome charitable outreach within their community, hosting fun and engaging events through their EXIT Realty Home & Ranch office. One of their most recent raised over $31,000 for a local Seeds of Learning charity.
Shelley, having been with the brand since 2008, was the real estate influence by which Jessica learned, and was delighted in 2015, to foray into ownership with her daughter, and now son-in-law. Together they believe in keeping it “home grown” as a secret to their success, and were also recognized as the brand’s 2023 Brokers of the Year in the South West U.S. division. They now have a bustling operation which includes three office locations in Durango, and Pagosa Springs in Colorado, as well as Farmington, New Mexico.
