When you’re starting a new career, whether it’s something completely different or just a change in location, there tends to be a period of uncertainty. You might not know the best way to begin or you’re just learning the ropes at a new office. For many, this can be overwhelming because it feels like another hurdle. You’ll receive a few things when you join EXIT Realty. Every new agent receives a New Agent Welcome Package. This package includes two books by Founder and Chairman, Steve Morris, an EXIT decal for your vehicle, a membership card, flyers with offers from our Premier Partners, a flyer on first steps, and an EXIT lapel pin.
There will also be a few emails heading your way. The first is a welcome email with some helpful information like your roster code and a temporary password to get you logged into the Resource Center (RC). You will also get an email from Franchise Support that will suggest the best webinars for new agents to view in the Media Library.
If you’re wondering what the RC is, it is our private company intranet specifically for EXIT Realty associates. The RC is our primary information hub and is brimming with useful material. The best place to start is with our digital guide, the Agent Success Plan, which is an 8-week plan to integrate agents, new to the business or new to EXIT, into EXIT’s culture.
The RC also acts as an on-demand knowledge base that is simple to search when you need answers. Agents are invited to attend a monthly webinar that is held the second Wednesday of the month, if you are unable to join then you can always listen on demand to the recorded version once it’s been uploaded to the RC. Past agent webinars are archived for easy access.
The Expert Marketing Suite™, offered as a member benefit, is another tool designed to promote your listings. This powerful suite of tools includes a branded and unbranded virtual tour, marketing flyers, a dedicated property website, HTML code for creating an online flyer, and more. And, as soon as you join EXIT, you are provided with your own, customizable Mobile Business Card™. As an agent new to EXIT, you can also opt to use the subscription-based EXIT Promo Shop, an EXIT-branded marketing platform to help build your brand with print and digital marketing.
There are so many tools available to our agents, the list is too long to include here. Just know, that when you joined EXIT you became part of a family working together to meet your goals.
