“Each year that I’ve participated in this charity, I’ve seen awareness grow around the needs of children in our community, and our collective efforts have helped more children benefit from this wonderful program,” Marylou Frost, Sales Representative with EXIT Realty Group, Brokerage in Trenton, ON talks about her experience supporting the Kinsmen Club of Trenton with an annual toy drive.
The Kinsmen Club provides 350+ children with toys and gifts during the holiday season and is dedicated to community service projects and supporting local needs.
Marylou and her team once again hosted a dance with live music from The Reasons, a popular local band with a loyal and enthusiastic following. The night was a success, filled with fun, dancing, and great food. Funds were raised through donations and ticket sales and all in attendance were encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the event.
The team was hoping to raise $3,000, which EXIT Realty Corp. International was proud to match; however they raised $3,280 for a total donation of $6,280 to Kinsmen Club of Trenton.
“For the past nine years, this Toy Drive has held a special place in my heart, and with the incredible support shown again this year, I have no doubt that next year will be another amazing success,” Marylou said.
A portion of every transaction fee received by EXIT Realty Corp. International is applied to its charitable fund. Through the Spirit of EXIT Charitable Program, EXIT offices and associates can raise money for local, approved, registered charities and apply to EXIT’s head office to have those funds matched from the company’s pool of funds.
